Hello, and thanks for your interest in Virgin Hemp Farms. Our roots began in Virgin Utah in 2019 right after the Federal farm bill legalized industrial hemp. Our farm was nestled in the town of Virgin along the Virgin River, right outside of Zion national Park. One could not ask for a more picturesque office. While the work was hard, the experience was life-changing.      The following year Louisiana approved it’s first industrial hemp bill, so Virgin hemp moved its operations to Louisiana. Virgin hemp was the first grower in Louisiana to harvest and thus provided the Louisiana state lab with samples to calibrate their equipment.     The first outdoor grow in Louisiana was a rough one due to two hurricanes and endless rain along with unforeseen soil conditions. Over half of the 900 acres that all Louisiana farmers planted was lost. After that lesson we decided to move our grow operations indoors.       Our new location located in Milton LA consists of a 7500 square-foot facility that houses our grow rooms, dry rooms and a food grade packing facility. We are proud to produce some of the best flower, gummies and candies available.     Virgin Hemp Farms has a seat on the Louisiana industrial hemp research committee where we are constantly making suggestions to move the Hemp Program in a positive direction. We will continue to work effortlessly to improve the hemp industry in Louisiana and nationwide and with your support we will continue the good fight.    In late 2022, Virgin Hemp was approached by a producer for NBC Universal, and asked to provide plants and props for the upcoming movie Half Baked 2. With such an honor upon us, we went into overdrive, ensuring that we provided the most beautiful plants that have ever been viewed on the silver screen. When the time came, we loaded the beautiful plants into a U-Haul and drove them to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where the filming took place. While the prepping for the movie was stressful, showcasing our work at the time of filming made it all worth it. Our staff had a blast, mingling with Hollywood, and having fun on the set. It was an honor to represent Louisiana and the industrial hemp program during this process.
